The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Kibale National Park together offer one of the most exciting and diverse wildlife experiences in Uganda. These two incredible parks, located in the southwestern region, are renowned for their abundance of primates, including the iconic mountain gorillas and a vast array of other primates. Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the best places in the world to experience gorilla trekking, while Kibale is known as the “primate capital of the world” with its rich biodiversity of monkeys, chimpanzees, and other wildlife.
